The Indonesia Economic Summit (IES) is the annual flagship event of the Indonesian Business Council (IBC). It is a high-level forum that brings together business leaders, policymakers, global thinkers, and industry champions. Its purpose is to elevate Indonesia’s profile on the international stage as a growth hub, promote investment, and expand business and economic interaction with the global business community.

IES is hosted by the Indonesian Business Council, an association of Indonesian business leaders, chief executives, and owners of the country’s major corporations. More about the Council at business-council.id.

IES 2027 takes place on 20 and 21 April 2027 in Jakarta. The venue and the detailed programme are published on this site as they are confirmed.

Registration for IES 2027 opens on 10 October 2026. Until then the registration form is closed and no registrations are accepted through any other channel.

Registration is completed on this website. Choose Register, enter your email address, and you will receive a six-digit sign-in code. There is no password to create and no password to remember.

No. Attendance at IES 2027 is free of charge. Registration is open to all, and every registration is reviewed individually by the Secretariat; submitting a registration does not by itself guarantee a place. You will be notified by email once a decision has been made.

You receive an acknowledgement email immediately, carrying your registration number in the form IES27-000000. Quote that number whenever you write to the Secretariat.

The Secretariat then reviews your registration. There are three possible outcomes: approved, not approved for this edition, or a request to correct or complete something. Each outcome is sent to you by email, and the current state of your registration is always visible when you sign in.

Sign in with your email address. The note from the Secretariat appears at the top of your registration page, and the fields are open for editing again. Make the change and submit the registration once more; it returns to the same review queue, and you do not start over.

No. Each delegate registers individually, with their own email address. Signing in and the event credential are both tied to that address and to the person attending, so a registration cannot be completed on someone else’s behalf.

No. All registrations close before the summit and are completed through this site. On-site registration is not available.

Delegates do not need to upload any document. Registration asks for your own details and your organisation.

There is one exception. Delegates attending on behalf of media organisations upload a photograph of a valid press card, because media accreditation is issued against that card.

Journalists register through the same form, choosing the Media category. In addition to the usual details, the form asks for the media organisation, the role, and a photograph of a valid press card.

Media registration stays open until two days before the summit, later than every other category, because assignments to cover the summit are often confirmed at short notice.

Registering close to the summit does mean less time for the Secretariat to review and for accreditation to be prepared, and a place cannot be guaranteed at that point.

Approved delegates receive a personal QR credential, available on this site and in the IES app once your registration is approved. It is scanned at the gate on both days, and it may be scanned more than once.

No. Accreditation is personal and cannot be transferred. The credential is issued to the name held for your registration, and it is checked against that name at the gate.

No. The code contains only a random identifier, a digital signature, and a validity period. It carries no name, no email address, no job title, and no document number. Even so, it remains your credential: treat it as you would a boarding pass.

It is used to organise the summit: to review your registration, to keep you informed, and to admit you at the gate. The Privacy Policy on this site sets out in full what is collected, who may see it, how long it is kept, and how to ask for it to be corrected or deleted.

No. The registration form asks for four separate consents, and only the first, agreement to the Privacy Policy, is required in order to register. Consent to event photography and video, to appearing in the participant directory, and to being contacted by partners and sponsors are each given or withheld on their own, and each can be withdrawn later.
