Her academic journey includes a PhD in Education from UPI Bandung Indonesia, an MA from the University of Warwick England, and a Bachelor in English from IKIP Malang. With over four decades of dedicated service to the field of education, she has honed her skills in various capacities. Her professional contributions extend beyond academia as she actively engages in enhancing teacher competence through module development and training sessions.
Itje's experience spans across Indonesia and extends internationally to other countries. She has presented her insights at numerous national and international conferences and has been pivotal in projects focusing on English education innovation across multiple countries. Moreover, Itje Chodidjah is deeply committed to educational policy and leadership, serving as a member of various esteemed organizations such as the Strengthening Character Education team, the National Literacy Movement team, and the National Accreditation Board.
Her dedication to educational advancement is further evidenced by her role as the Executive Chair of the Indonesia National Commission for UNESCO.
