Sigit Puji Santosa is a seasoned technology leader with over 30 years of experience in engineering innovation, product development, and strategic transformation across the automotive, defense, and transportation sectors. As Chief Technology Officer of Danantara Indonesia, he drives the adoption of advanced technologies and industrial innovation across the company’s state-owned enterprise portfolio.
Prior to joining Danantara Indonesia, Sigit serves as CEO of PT PINDAD, Indonesia’s leading defense manufacturer. He also spent over a decade at General Motors in the U.S., where he led global engineering teams in electric and hybrid vehicle development and received multiple GM Chairman’s Honors.
Sigit holds a Doctor of Science and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from MIT, and an engineering degree from Institut Teknologi Bandung (ITB), where he is also a senior academic. His work has led to numerous patents and over 60 peer-reviewed publications. With a strong track record in both industry and academia, Sigit brings a unique blend of technical depth and strategic vision to Danantara Indonesia.
