Dr. Dino Patti Djalal is the Founder and Chairman of the Foreign Policy Community of Indonesia, current Vice President of the Paris Peace Forum (2019 - present) and former Vice Minister for Foreign Affairs in 2014. A graduate of Carleton University (1986), the Simon Fraser University (1990) and the London School of Economics (2000), Dr. Djalal served the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as the Director for North American Affairs (2002 - 2004) and the Ambassador to the United States (2010 - 2013). There, he earned the Indonesian state’s highest medals for merit, Bintang Mahaputra (2014) and Bintang Jasa Utama (2010). He also earned an award for Longest Serving Presidential Spokesperson under President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono (2002 - 2010). He currently serves as the Chairman of the Board at the Indonesian Diaspora Network (2017 - present), World Resources Institute Indonesia (2016 - present), and the Indonesian Lecturers Association (2018 - present).
