As President Director of Indika Energy, Arsjad led the company through a remarkable transformation, recovering from significant financial losses due to declining coal prices and increasing its assets sevenfold in just six years. He initiated the diversification of Indika Energy into sustainable sectors such as renewable energy and nature-based solutions, driven by his belief that sustainability is the future.

Elected as Chairman of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KADIN) for 2021-2026 and recently appointed as Chair of the Board of The Indonesian Business Council, Arsjad is committed to revitalizing the national economy. His influence extends regionally and globally, holding key positions such as Chair of the ASEAN Business Advisory Council Indonesia, Chair of the ASEAN-Indo Pacific Business Network (AIPBN), and General Council Member of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC). In these roles, he has driven initiatives that enhance trade and investment, promote regional connectivity, and support sustainable economic development, significantly contributing to the region's economic resilience and global competitiveness.

Arsjad's influence also extends into the Islamic business landscape as a member of the Board of Trustees at the Organization of Islamic Cooperation Arbitration Center and Head for Economic Empowerment at the Indonesian Mosque Council. These roles underscore his commitment to economic empowerment and development within the Islamic world.

As a thought leader, Arsjad advocates for collaboration in nation-building, private-public partnerships, and global economic integration. His impressive educational background includes degrees from the University of Southern California and Pepperdine University, along with advanced courses at INSEAD, Harvard Kennedy School, Said Business School, and the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy. His business prowess has earned him prestigious awards, including Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum (2011) and Best Executive in Indonesia by Asiamoney (2010).
