Jens Arnold is head of division for Southeast Asia at the OECD’s Economics Department. He joined the OECD in 2006 where he has worked on a wide range of emerging and advanced economies across Asia, Latin America, Europe and Africa, on issues including macroeconomics, regulatory policies, industry dynamics, productivity growth, international trade and investment, taxation, social policies, labour markets and environmental policies. Previously, he was with the World Bank’s Research Department and has also been teaching at Sciences Po in Paris from 2006 to 2011. His academic research has been published in the Economic Journal, the Journal of International Economics and the Review of International Economics.
