Jakarta – Indonesian Business Council (IBC) set to strengthen the participation of the
Indonesian private sectors and business community in the collaborative effort to boost the
country’s economic growth and prosperity. Through Indonesia Economic Summit (IES) 2025, IBC
encourages collective participation of business and industry sectors in the country’s economic
development.
IBC was established as a platform for business and industry leaders to engage in constructive
dialog, share insights, and exchange best practices in corporate governance and public policy.
Members of IBC have a shared purpose to become a formidable driving force for Indonesia’s
national economy and prosperity.
To achieve its vision, IBC has been promoting collaborative efforts to establish a transparent,
healthy, and conducive public policy environment that contributes to the enhancement of
Indonesia’s competitiveness.
CEO of IBC Sofyan Djalil stated that IBC’s work is based on in-depth understanding of data and
analysis, rigorous research, combined with insight from industry leaders to provide input to the
government and policymakers on issues critical for Indonesia’s advancement. “As the association
of Indonesia’s business and industry leaders, we invite our business stakeholders to
collectively work together for a more competitive Indonesia,” stated Mr. Djalil.
